The past 10 years of travel to the Canadian Maritimes has slowly brought me around to a simple realization.

I now think of life as a series of moments; each one a door that briefly opens.

Ninety nine percent of the moments of life are of no particular consequence.

But sometimes, there is a "gateway moment"; a door that opens to something very special.

The trick of course is to look at life from the perspective of "Carpe Diem."

Seize the moment!

I think, for me, this is a mix of courage, curiosity, and craziness!

I can tell you for sure that the last ten years has taught me; perhaps what I already knew...

When the door opens, walk through it!
